Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) dome cameras are the devices used to film a desired area and pass the information in digital or analogue format to a multiplexer or recorder.
Dome cameras are often considered to be more aesthetically pleasing than the more traditional camera shape. They do not protrude as far out from the fabric of the building and their uniform shape makes them appear less conspicuous. The decision as to which type of CCTV dome cameras to use depends on its location environment and the type of subject being monitored.
